What Can You Expect From Transformers 2 Movie?

The sequel to the Transformers movie that came out in 2007 has a very high standard to meet. Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen is slated for release on June 24, 2009. With Transformers fans the world-over waiting for the sequel, the film needs to be bigger, badder and better than the first.

Fans went head over heals over the animation, plot, intensity and production quality of the first installment. Will the second movie deliver what the first one promised is just a glimpse of things to come? What can you expect from the Transformers 2 Movie? From the Transformers 2 Trailers released till date, the sequel seems promising.

Let's talk about the plot first. The plot of movie is what spells it success or failure. And when you're handling something as big and famous as the Transformers, it better be good. This time around, the plot revolves around Sam Witwicky (played by Shia LaBeouf) discovering some 'interesting' information about the origins of the Transformers and their history on the Earth. Decepticons, of course, need this information for their own benefit. The plot promises of a final battle at the Giza Pyramid complex and becomes obvious how interesting this is going to get.

From the trailers, you can see how well the action has been handled in this movie. The first movie had some intriguing stunts and action sequences and with the sequel, director Michael Bay seems to have taken everything to a whole new level. First, the Transformers look awesome. Second, the action sequence will get you on the edge of your seat. Finally, it fits in beautifully with the plot. A winning combination there!

But we've already seen our heroes Optimus Prime and others in the first movie. What's new for "show-me-something-new" kind of fans? Well, this movie is going to feature one new Decepticon: Fallen. Fallen has a whole story behind him which I won't reveal here but looking at Transformers 2 toys that have been released, he seems to be one bad guy you don't want to mess with. Look forward to seeing him in the movie for he has a major part - of course, since the movie has his name.

Only time will tell if Transformers 2 will deliver on its promise and live up to the expectations. We as fans can only hope for the best.
